Paisley Counihan - Newborn Session

What an honor to walk with the Counihan family through their most precious milestones. It seems like just yesterday I was photographing big brother Deacon's newborn session. And now they welcome a gorgeous baby girl to their family, Paisley. 

When I photographed Paisley's newborn session back in December, it may have been the dreariest day of the year, but not at the Counihan home. I was greeted by the smell of fresh Christmas tree, holiday music, a fire going in the fireplace, a fist-pumping toddler and a beautiful baby girl, six days new. I wanted to linger long after the photos had been completed. 

I think it's safe to say that Alicia is embracing all things girly and pink for her beautiful baby girl. Bows and blankets and dresses - so much fun! Paisley's nursery was full of color, special handmade items made with love, classic books and of course paisley-printed fabric. 

I love that the walls of the Counihan home are adorned with favorite scripture verses and family photos. It is a humbling reminder of what they value and cherish most. What a special time for the Counihan family as they welcome Paisley Joy. Congrats Josh and Alicia on your beautiful family of four!
